Abstract The extreme climate change can result in long dry season or high rainfall, thereby affect water supply. Water supply highly influences paddy and fish productivity Mina Padi (paddy-fish integration farming system) pattern. This research aims to analyze the farmers’ adapting strategy dealing with effect of on productivity. took place area Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java. employed a qualitative method descriptive analysis. informant consisted farmers extension officers selected using purposive sampling technique. shows that includes closing caren, channel made deepest part lot (the pond is concentrated front farm). quality production caren better than without it. Paddy will not be attacked by pest when there , because preyed directly fish. number sowed same no Caren but qualitatively develop more rapidly those only.
